About this role

Human Rights Watch is seeking a Myanmar Researcher within its Asia Division to investigate, document, and advocate against human rights abuses in Myanmar and related regional issues, with a preferred base in Thailand. HRW's Asia Division regularly documents abuses against LGBTQ+ persons, activists, and key populations, making LGBTQ+ rights a documented part of the research mandate. The role develops and implements a full research and advocacy agenda, produces public reports, and works with media and civil society partners across Southeast Asia.
